Yesterday, I went to the fabric store and picked out a little some color fabric to work with. My favorite is the bottom one, which B said reminds him of his mom’s sheets. I’m not so sure about the second from the bottom, but I saw another lady buy it and it looked nice from afar. I did get around to some watercolors but I’m not very pleased with them, so time to practice.

This is my favorite bird out of the bunch. I think I’m starting to get the hang of it. All of them are hand sewn, and it gets a little tricky when the edges start to fray.

All of the ones I’ve done so far. Last one is my least favorite. The combination of the two fabrics is a little off.
I can’t wait to see Public Enemy tonight with my family! On a side note, I didn’t realize that getting married in a church is sooooo expensive. Like easily costing a grand kind expensive. Also not really  sewing straps on my dress or being wearing a wrap in the Texas heat. I’m melting already with shorts on!
