I just wanted to say that I am 100% with you when you say you’ll never get over that view from the sky… I recently landed in Salt Lake City, UT, on my way to San Francisco, and we flew in at a low altitude, right over the Rockies and then the salt lakes on a clear day, and it was just STUNNING. AMAZING. I dunno. I always request a window seat when I fly, and I have to remind myself to take more/better pictures, but sometimes I just love to take it all in. Ximena sent me a link to your post about portraits before bed because: “don’t you think her rendition of Kiki Smith looks, uh, like you?” ha, so that is how I find myself reading your blog again, which is a great blog, and just felt like commenting.
